In 2013, Jason Greiner, the founder of Three Rivers Creative Arts in Pittsburgh, PA. (having relacted it's base to Mebeane, NC it is now known as TRCA), decided to create a video tutorial website that would be dedicated to allowing those who work with photography and the other visual and digital arts to hone their crafts. Since then, the membership site has expanded to include any number of creative concepts.

With an ever more digital world, and the need and desire for instruction to go along with it, Greiner came up with the idea to go beyond simply offering video tutorials at an affordable rate but to provide something more in-depth and interactive. This is how the idea of Image Aids Academy was born.
